WEBAHOLICS DELIGHT
(or 20 ways to watch your life
slip away...)
We at DJSQ are always addicted to something or other, and our
current obsession besides annoying people in the AOL Duran folder is the World Wide Web. Are web
sites just "pogs" for adults? I don't wanna know but, here, for your surfing
pleasure are our favorite web sites....
- The Nancy
Drew Home Page
Who was Carolyn Keene and why didn't she write the Nancy
Drew books? Find the answer to this fascinating mystery and sneak a peek at Nancy's sporty roadster while you're at it.
- Holy Titclamps

well, it just rules. Visit the website now and order the latest issue or catch

no reason why you shouldn't be there by now!
- Muzzy Pages
Page put together by net goddesses Muz and Jett (who also run the queer punk
mailing list). Features info on their fave bands (Team Dresch with, sigh, a
special Kaia page, Hole, 7 Year Bitch, L7, Tribe 8, Sleater-Kinney), and shares
space with Matt's Outpunk page as well as a link to the Billy DeFranco Gay and
Lesbian Comm Center in San Jose Ca.
- The
Dorothy Parker Home Page
The Goddess of Wit, the Queen of Sarcasm, the High Priestess of the Put- Down is
now digitized for your very own cyberpleasure.

only place to go for record and show reviews, zines, and info on twee labels.
Hey, if it's Twee, it's here!
- The Magic 8
Ball
Need help making those important decisions, like do I pay my phone bill or my
electric bill this month? Wanna know if you've found Ms/Mr. Right? Ask the 8 ball.
I won't leave home without first consulting the wisdom of the mighty 8 ball. Now, you
don't have to either. Go there now, thank me later.
- New Ways to Noise
Awesome Brit site with tons of info on Wiiija records that features special
sections on Free Kitten, the now defunct Huggy Bear, a Team Dresch sound
sample and tons of other happening junk.
- The Nicks Fix: A Home Page
Dedicated to the Music of Stevie Nicks
Just like a white winged dove...Need I say anymore? I didn't think so.
- AdaWeb

up-to-the-minute art site featuring eyepopping design and on line projects by artists
like Doug Aitken, Julia Scher, Charles Long and Stereolab--so hip it hurts.
- David House's Gothic
Page
Shouldn't it be Gothick or something? And can goths only surf at night? Yeah, whatever,
tons of ghoulish links to pages filled with goth musick, magick, and a couple thousand
vampyre fantasies. Sharpen your fangs before you leave your coffin for this one.

Carson McCullers Home Page
Besides Jackie, one of our favorite writers. See, we have some taste.
- Lesbian Links
Tons of links to all things made especially for girlies who love other girlies.

news that's fit to errr, print...
- Allison Anders
I was gonna save these last three links for the next issue but they're too good
to hold...Gas, Food and Lodging was one of my very favorite films and Allison
Anders is one of our very favorite directors. This link will take you to her
"Save the Melodrama" site on Wired Magz Hotwired Space. You may have to "join" the
site before you can access the page, but it's worth it for the sound clip interviews
with her and the downloadable vid clips of her fave films.
- Hothead Paisan
The homicidal lesbian terrorist has invaded the web and all I have to say
is...what took her so long? Thank god for Hothead!!!!Awesome page, but don't
take my word for it, go there now!!! Indulge a few revenge fantasies...nothing
like a good cathartic rush to get ya goin!!!
- The Poptart Pages
This is the place for all of us who think that links to the Guy Debord page are
really cool but are made even more awesome when links to the Wonder Woman
homepage and the Bionic homepage can be found there too. I've yet to make it
thru all the stuff on this page, but I can guarantee it's a treasure...
especially for pop culture vulture/grad students like me.
